Contractors Direct Affiliate Programme T&C's

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.
  • 1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, references to "we", "us", and "our" mean Contractors Direct.

References to "you" and "your" mean users of our website and, where applicable, participants in our affiliate programme.

"Affiliate" means any person who has completed the sign up process, accepted these Terms and Conditions by clicking the relevant acceptance button, submitted their registration, and received an onboarding email from Contractors Direct confirming their place in the programme.

"Referral" means a lead, introduction, contact, or opportunity submitted by an Affiliate in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

"Client" means a person, company, or other entity introduced to Contractors Direct by an Affiliate that has entered into a formal agreement with Contractors Direct for relevant project related services. For the avoidance of doubt, a lead, enquiry, prospect, or informal expression of interest shall not, on its own, be treated as a Client.

"Qualifying Project" means a project that, in Contractors Direct’s reasonable assessment, is genuine, within scope, commercially viable, and proceeds to a confirmed live project engagement through Contractors Direct.

"Successful Referral" means a Referral that becomes a Qualifying Project and satisfies all payment conditions set out in these Terms and Conditions.

  • 2. Programme Overview

The Contractors Direct affiliate programme allows Affiliates to refer prospective clients, project opportunities, or qualified introductions to Contractors Direct in return for a referral fee where a Successful Referral converts into a Qualifying Project.

By signing up, accepting these Terms and Conditions, and receiving an onboarding email from Contractors Direct, you become an Affiliate in the programme.

Participation in the programme does not create any employment relationship, agency relationship, partnership, or authority to act on behalf of Contractors Direct.

  • 3. Eligibility and Approval

The programme is open to introducers, consultants, brokers, property professionals, content creators, and other well connected individuals or businesses who wish to participate in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

To become an Affiliate, you must:

    1. complete the sign up process
    2. accept these Terms and Conditions
    3. submit your details through the approved registration route
    4. receive an onboarding email from Contractors Direct

Once you receive that onboarding email, you are an Affiliate for the purposes of this programme.

Affiliates must provide accurate and complete information during sign up and keep their details reasonably up to date.

  • 4. How Referrals Must Be Made

All referrals must be submitted through a Contractors Direct approved channel, which may include the website form, a dedicated affiliate submission route, email, or another method confirmed by Contractors Direct.

You must provide enough information for us to identify and assess the opportunity.

A referral is not considered logged, accepted, protected, or eligible for commission unless it has been received and recorded by Contractors Direct.

  • 5. Qualifying Criteria

A referral will only qualify for payment where all of the following conditions are met:

    1. the referred opportunity is new to Contractors Direct and has not already been introduced, registered, engaged, or actively discussed with us by another party
    2. the referral relates to a genuine project opportunity within the scope of services Contractors Direct is willing and able to support
    3. the Client has signed the relevant agreement
    4. the Client has paid the initial deposit
    5. the project has been confirmed as live by Contractors Direct
    6. full payment has been received by Contractors Direct in accordance with the agreed commercial arrangement
    7. the referral has not been excluded under these Terms and Conditions

For the avoidance of doubt, referral fees become payable only once the full payment condition has been satisfied.

  • 6. Referral Fee Structure

Subject to these Terms and Conditions, the referral fee payable for each Successful Referral shall be as follows:

    1. Projects between AED 50,000 and AED 99,999: AED 500
    2. Projects between AED 100,000 and AED 199,999: AED 1,000
    3. Projects between AED 200,000 and AED 499,999: AED 3,000
    4. Projects between AED 500,000 and AED 799,999: AED 5,000
    5. Projects between AED 800,000 and AED 1,000,000: AED 10,000
    6. Projects above AED 1,000,000: AED 15,000

Project value for fee banding shall be determined by Contractors Direct based on the confirmed project value recorded by us.

Contractors Direct reserves the right to amend the referral fee structure at any time. Any revised fee structure will apply prospectively unless otherwise stated.

  • 7. Payment Terms

Referral fees are only payable in respect of Successful Referrals.

No referral fee is due simply because an introduction was made, a conversation took place, a meeting was held, or a proposal was issued.

Contractors Direct will not collect or request banking information from Affiliates at the point of initial sign up.

When a referral fee becomes due, our finance team will contact the Affiliate directly to request the information required to process payment. This may include bank details and a receipt or payment confirmation document. The Affiliate must sign the relevant receipt or confirmation before funds are released.

Payment will only be made once:

    1. Project start date confirmed by Project People
    2. Project completion confirmed at handover
    3. Subject to maximum end date of 1 September 2026

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, approved payments will be processed within 30 days after all required steps above have been completed.

Any tax, reporting, or regulatory obligation arising from receipt of a referral fee shall remain the responsibility of the Affiliate unless the law requires otherwise.

  • 8. Exclusions and Non Payable Referrals

Referral fees will not be payable in the following circumstances:

    1. the referred lead or project is already known to Contractors Direct
    2. the lead is already active within the Contractors Direct pipeline
    3. the lead has already been introduced by another person or source
    4. the referral relates to an existing Contractors Direct client
    5. the referral is an internal lead
    6. the referral is made by an employee
    7. the referral is a self referral
    8. the opportunity does not proceed
    9. the project falls outside scope
    10. the project is not commercially viable
    11. the Client fails to sign, pay, proceed, or complete the relevant commercial arrangement
    12. the Affiliate has acted in breach of these Terms and Conditions

No referral fee shall be payable in respect of existing Contractors Direct clients, active opportunities, or leads already held within the Contractors Direct pipeline.

Contractors Direct reserves the right to withhold or recover any referral fee where it reasonably believes the referral was submitted fraudulently, in bad faith, or in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

  • 9. Multiple Claims and Lead Ownership

Where more than one person claims the same referral or opportunity, Contractors Direct shall determine, acting reasonably, which party is entitled to any referral fee, if any.

In making that decision, we may consider the timing of the introduction, the route through which it was submitted, the completeness of the information provided, and any other relevant evidence.

Our decision on lead ownership and referral fee entitlement shall be final.

  • 10. Affiliate Responsibilities

Affiliates must represent Contractors Direct honestly, accurately, and responsibly.

    Affiliates must not:

    1. present themselves as employees, agents, or authorised representatives of Contractors Direct
    2. make promises, warranties, contractual assurances, or service commitments on behalf of Contractors Direct
    3. create, publish, or distribute content that is misleading, false, offensive, defamatory, unlawful, or damaging to the Contractors Direct brand
    4. create content or communications that are materially off brand or that represent Contractors Direct in a negative, inappropriate, or misleading way

Any use of the Contractors Direct name, brand, logo, or marketing language must be appropriate, accurate, and consistent with our brand standards where provided.

  • 11. Social Media, Influencer Activity, and Legal Compliance

Where an Affiliate promotes Contractors Direct, the affiliate programme, or related services through social media, content creation, influencer activity, or any public communication, the Affiliate is solely responsible for ensuring that such activity complies with all applicable laws, regulations, platform rules, and advertising requirements in the United Arab Emirates.

This includes, where relevant, compliance with UAE rules relating to advertising disclosures, influencer licensing, commercial representations, promotions, paid endorsements, and any other legal or regulatory requirements.

Contractors Direct accepts no responsibility or liability for any content independently created, published, or distributed by an Affiliate.

Any fine, penalty, sanction, claim, or legal consequence arising from an Affiliate’s content, activity, or non compliance with applicable law shall be the sole responsibility of the Affiliate.

  • 12. Contractors Direct Responsibilities

Contractors Direct will manage the qualification, commercial handling, and delivery route for referred opportunities at its discretion.

Contractors Direct will use reasonable efforts to provide Affiliates with monthly status updates in relation to their referred opportunities, subject to confidentiality, data protection requirements, and commercial sensitivity.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions requires us to accept, pursue, quote for, or convert any referral, nor to disclose confidential commercial information to an Affiliate regarding the handling of a referred opportunity.

  • 13. Confidentiality and Data Protection

Each party must keep confidential any non-public commercial, operational, or client information received in connection with the programme, except where disclosure is required by law or authorised in writing.

Affiliates must only share personal data where they have a lawful basis to do so and must comply with applicable privacy and data protection requirements.

Contractors Direct may use referral information for the purpose of assessing, contacting, managing, and progressing referred opportunities.

  • 14. No Employment, Agency, or Partnership

Participation in the affiliate programme does not make any Affiliate an employee, worker, agent, representative, franchisee, or partner of Contractors Direct.

Affiliates have no authority to bind Contractors Direct, negotiate on our behalf, or enter into commitments in our name.

  • 15. Suspension or Removal from the Programme

Contractors Direct may suspend or remove an Affiliate from the programme at any time where we reasonably consider this necessary to protect the business, our clients, the brand, or the integrity of the programme.

This includes cases involving suspected misuse, misleading promotion, unlawful conduct, reputational harm, off brand content, fraud, or breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Termination or removal will not affect any referral fee already properly approved and due before the date of suspension or removal, subject always to these Terms and Conditions.

  • 16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Contractors Direct shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss arising out of or in connection with the affiliate programme, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, reputational loss, or loss arising from third party claims.

Contractors Direct shall not be liable for any fine, penalty, sanction, or claim arising from content, promotions, statements, or public communications created or published by an Affiliate.

Our total liability in connection with the affiliate programme shall not exceed the total referral fees paid or payable to the relevant Affiliate in respect of the matter giving rise to the claim.

  • 17. Changes to the Programme and Terms

Contractors Direct may update, revise, suspend, or withdraw the affiliate programme or these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Any updated version may be published on our website or otherwise notified to Affiliates and will take effect from the stated effective date.

Affiliates remain responsible for ensuring that any promotion or content they create continues to comply with applicable UAE laws and regulations, even if those laws or requirements change over time.

  • 18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable laws and regulations of the Emirate of Dubai.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.

  • 19. Summary

Referral fees are only payable on successful qualifying projects and are subject to the full Affiliate Programme Terms and Conditions.
